What diff ratio should I get?

I'm looking into getting a different gear ratio for my car but not sure of what I should get. I want to be quicker but not too extreme like 3:91 where my top end speed is really low. Anything in the middle? Anyone know what ratio comes stock on 325's? (5 speed) Thanks.

Stock is 3.15

I would go for a 3.46 or 3.6x for some real acceleration gains.

Well.. u need a custom diff for those ratio as no E36 6 cyl comes with those ratios.. so u have to ask around. U can buy custom diffs from say Korman or tuner. But they're going to want $1800 plus ur core.

Theres a guy that sells custom diffs who advertises in the roundel. You have to call him and see what he can do. He's in PA... sorry, I dont have his number.
