Hey everyone,
With this holiday season approaching quickly I'd like to make a little extra present money for my family and friends.
I'm a BMW tech at a local independent shop in N. Orange County looking for some side work. If any of you guys need any work done to your car I will do the labor for a very reasonable fee. I have access to a BMW specific scan tool (Autologic) for diagnostic purposes.
Let me know what you guys need. Just PM me.
Thanks,
Geoff
what was your old user name?
I need Work done I recently replaced my dash and my a/c unit(analog) went crazy when i plugged back in, all lights are lit up,also need to install sunroof repair kit Please give me a call asap 714 469-5230-dave thanks!!!!!
can you post your rates and what one can expect for some typical jobs?
Out of respect for my work place and other shops I don't think posting what I view what a job is worth is appropriate. It's definitely much less then the normal shop fee. I know what jobs are easy but book time is much more. I also know which jobs are a PITA and you barely break even. Just PM me what you need and we can go from there.

Geoff.T worked on my 2003 M5 last night and provided great service. He pointed out some issues and resolved other items on my M5 that I wasn't even aware of. He worked on my front brakes and oil change.
I have some more work needed and definitely plan on taking the M5 back to Geoff.
I'll be Pm'ing you soon Geoff.

Can you recode my soon to be 98 Z3 from KM to MI?
If it is a US car then that should be no problem.
It was originally from Canada. Buying this from a friend. I would think a (new) cluster with MI/KM is needed since it currently only has KM. Then some kind of reprogramming of it to make the odometer to display MI instead of KM. I can see both KM and MILES in the cluster when it lights up.
Sorry, can't PM yet since I'm new to this forum.
I can try to re-program it for you as is. If it doesn't work then a new cluster is necessary.
Geoff is awesome! Let him work on your car!
got time this week to swap a diff?
