Thanks to bimmerforums member rudy92 we have a video of the recent Bimmerfest in California that includes footage of TWO Baurs: Koko's beautiful Hennarot (correct?) 1982 323i, and another silver Baur that we are trying identify presently.
Here is the link to the thread:

Thank you to rudy92 and Koko! The mobile part of the video was shot from Koko's Baur! Great job, fellas!

Here are some more pics from Bimmerfest May 2011 held last weekend. We would like to try to identify the Baur above. Bimmerforums member rudy92 sent us the following, which is all we know about it for now:
"What I remember was that it was a 316 single headlights yes, I think the car had only 28 thousand miles, and the color was a very light greenish silver. And also the owner didnt speak much english, he was armenian."
West Coast Baurhunters: can anyone help us identify this car? E21baur may know him, since we have another pic of the two parked next to one another, I believe. .... In the video shot by rudy92 in the previous post "Two Baurs at Bimmerfest 2011", the two Baurs appear at 2:37 parked next to each other at a 90 degree angle. we can see the license plate on the silver one is "California: 6CXD210".
I thought folks might enjoy seeing this one.
I have posted a few more in my blog.
http://baurspotting.blogspot.com/
Many thanks to the fellas who provided these pics, which were originally posted in bimmerforums this week: rudy92, uberpanzer, ebmw21 and E21Adam. Some of them may been borrowed from Autoblog, so we want to give them credit also. I apologize if I left someone out. Great job, fellas!

Hello all!
I am the new proud owner of the Baur tc #1475 which I have read about in this thread. The cars new home is in Rockaway Beach N.Y. I am a long time Porsche guy with several 914's and a 944 but this is my first BMW. I look forward to learning as much as i can from the Baur community.
Congratulations and welcome! We have been watching your car for some time now.... From the Balt-DC area, up to Long Island, then into the city and now to you! I know one previous owner did a lot of things to it... Can you update us on what it is like now? He did a paint job, I think, and was doing some engine.... But I never heard the final outcome.
Welcome!

BTW, keep your eyes peeled out there. There was another Baur sighted in Merrick, Long Island a couple of years ago, and we haven't been able to track it down.
See page 6 of this thread, post #183, I think. There are pics of the car.... It has square headlights.... And our resident Baur Guru, Jeroen from The Netherlands, indicates that it may be a car that once belonged to the Baur family. Without the Baur number, of course, we can't be sure.
If I am not mistaken, you are not too far from Merrick. With any luck, you will be caught in one of those infamous Long Island traffic jams together, and you will have a chance to chat!
J/K. But do let us know if you come across any info on that other Baur.

Hey u dont u have a picture of mine in that list im #3,527
Not yet.
Those cars you see in the list are the cars that are registered with the International Baur Registry. I just checked, and your car is not registered there yet.
So your car was unknown to us as a US Baur.
Have you been to this site?
http://www.baur-tc1.de/
Let's get your Baur registered there. They will want a couple of pics similar to what you see there, including a pic of the Baur plate showing your Baur number. The list is run by Stefan (I think), and perhaps Jeroen Janssen (Baur Guru) can help us get you registered. All those pics came from him, btw.
We do need to revise that list, because we have added quite a few US Baurs since that list first went up last December. There were 33 cars originally... And while I don't have a firm count off the top of my head.... I think we have 50-80 Baurs now... Not all have had confirmed Baur numbers yet. But we are working on it!!
The Baur spotted in Merrick NY, and mentioned above tonight, is another example. Or the silver one you saw at Bimmerfest also. We know those cars are out there, but we need to get them identified and registered in the international Baur Registry.
Any help is greatly appreciated: Welcome Aboard!

Sho' Nuff!! Here it is in Jeroen's original list on Page 1 of this thread! We do not have the owner's name.... unless Jeff (Alaskabimmer) has it from last year. But rudy92 says he believes he is of Armenian heitage, and may be from the Glendale, CA area.

He is of Armenian heritage I don't remember his name that was a year ago after all. I should have written it down.
There was an E-30 baur there last year as well with a M-3ish bodykit for a total of 3 baurs at that fest. I thought it was cool to go to a show with 2000+ Same make cars and there was only one other in the whole place like mine....
The Frozen Baur (AKA The Frozen Ground) now on Netflix (John Cussack is driving the Omega behind the Baur)
Since you mention an E30 that was kinda "M-ish".
This one was on the cover of Roundel, apparently.... maybe November 2009. That looks like an M badge there on the trunk. ??!! Has anyone seen this car around? Bimmerfest, perhaps?
I found it on this blog:
http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/search/label/BMW
Scroll down a bit on the May 22 2011 post. Lots of cool stuff there... check the sidebar!
Some of the pics of vanity plates look familiar... they were in the Bimmerfest pics posted in here last week.

That one (B40259) certainly seems to fit Jeff's description.
Do you know the one that was on the cover of Roundel.... With the "M" Badge in post #300? We are coming across more and more TC2s.
Thanks.

Nope, I don't think I saw that car earlier. At least someone was very creative...that "top-down"-cover ("persenning" in good German language) will never fit tight.

i have a picture of the m'ish baur, its also in the video i made. except the angel i took the picture does not show that its a baur, anyways its the first i guess u could say its the first red e30 m3 u see
Once again, I am amazed at you guys.
There are a finite number of BMW Baurs here in the US, and we continue to close in on them! This car is a good case in point: one particular car gets spotted and mentioned in this thread, and three different guys post pics of it within a couple of days!.
One guy is in California, spotted the car this year.
One guy is in Alaska, spotted it LAST year.
One guy is in The Netherlands. No idea how long he has known about it. We ALL know who THIS guy is.
Amazing. A testimony to your interest and enthusiasm.
Great work, fellas!
We still don't know the owner's name, and we haven't dragged him in here yet.... but I have a feeling that we will before too long. My hat is off to you guys!

1979 Baur 320i For SALE assoted history
Hey Gang,
I had every intention of just driving this thing for the summer and not really care but just enjoy it as a driver.
However the case, I just do not have time to continue dreaming about this car.
This is a feeler for seriously interested parties. It will be for sale to the right person. This car has been discussed by Tomscat and Jeroen over and over again. It also is currently wearing the ex-Michael Baur ID tag. You can see the discussions on Baur spotting and here on the forum. That is the assorted history thread.
It comes complete and ready to drive as is, but needs finishing and tweaks to be completely reliable.
Highlights:
Many extra parts come with the car that are too numerous to list.
Kamie body kit with front & rear spoilers
3 sport sport wheel
VDO 3-gauge pod on dash
Bosch ambers
4 speed
2.0 litre
13" Mesh wheels with 205 60 13" tires
Eruo center console
Seats are in very good condition
Top material in good no rip condition
Bilsteins
Much more
Obvious bad:
needs exhaust gasket at header pipe
Tires have flat spots on them from sitting forever.
wiper motor needs replace-have spare
rear window is creamed and cracked.
Paint and body is fair.
Anyways,
The pictures are from my phone and I do not have others at this time. The car lives in Sacramento yet I am in Oakland so no running out to the garage to snap off a few images just yet.
Again this is a prelisting (ebay, CL, BAT or wherever) for the legion to find first.
You can call me to discuss.
If we can do an easy transaction that is worth a few less dollars for the effort.
I am very easy to deal with and so should you.

Did anyone see any E21 Baurs there? I know HarryPR was unable to attend this year.
