I'll do this some day... dunno if my wheels will clear it though
I, as well. But I may opt for the BMW Performance BBK.Originally Posted by TerraPhantm

I would do that if I had a non-M. In the case of the M3, I'd lose quite a bit of braking force, and my whole car would become a lot more rear biased than it is right now. Those pistons in the 135i calipers are tiny compared to the M3's pistons.
Might even be the case for the non-Ms to a lesser extent.
We now have a 6-piston Z06 caliper/rotor kit for the E46 M3. I know you would be really impressed with the performance and pedal feel. Like you said though...with any BBK, there may be clearance issues with wheels.
We now sell spacers and studs to make the clearance issues less of an issue.
Thank EMC.
You used to be on a boat?
OK. What does the EMC stand for? Have a great weekend.
I have always been happy with my 330 brakes, my 528i, well they warp, other than that, they are pretty great
My 528 is a German Tank..
My 2008 Chihuahua is Blue deal with it
Always teaching now getting paid for it.
That is an extremely clean bracket you guys make
I run a full BBK (front and rear 997 C2 calipers) using these brackets and 345/328mm rotors for two years on my euro M3....
Still awsome, using Textar pads (Porsche OEM) even on fast tracks.. No problem.
Sorry to bring alive an old thread. I have a z4 and was wondering if these brackets would fit the 996 bbk on the front of the Z? I beleive cheap upgrades for the Z4 are e46 330 discs and calipers and I also know that someone has put e46 M3 discs and calipers on a 325 with 6mm of milling taken from the carrier. Therefore I assume that these brackets may fit the Z4? Any advise appreciated.
I will be soon fitting a full rear M3 axle to my Z4 so the rear 996 calipers will defo fit.
Cheers
Revival here, as I just picked up an e46 M3 and have a full set of Porsche 996 turbo brake calipers and new pads from when I upgraded it for the track.
The old link for this bracket no longer exists, anyone have a current direction they can point me to a bracket for Porsche/Brembo calipers?
