Alex E24 E30 is Alex not me.
My mistake I dont know where I saw Alex, wierd. Either way thank you sir. Although my car does have cruise control but it is not listed in the options thread. I wonder if it was included on all of the e24's after a certain date or why it would be standard for some but not all.
I think you missed me # 2561288

Sorry, guys, this is Alex. I was the one who started this thread and took over from Taylor from a couple of years ago. I have been having trouble with the log in to the system that gets a print out of these so that you can have .PDF versions of them to print out and to keep. This thread had died off a while back so I didn't spend much time trying to get back into the system. With the current influx, I'll see what I can do and go back and get .PDFs for these recent requests.
Alex
Here is a DIY option that will allow you to print out a nice option list yourself.

Hi, reviving an old thread. Is there anyone that can still pull up options from a VIN? If so could I trouble that person to provide a list for the following: 0607624

There's a bunch of new VIN decoders out there. I just tested these, they all work:
https://www.etkbmw.com/bmw/EN/vin/decoder/online
https://decoder.bvzine.com/
https://www.mdecoder.com/
Can't tell you how long they'll last, or how safe the sites are. They seem relatively legitimate.

Gentlemen, I have been presented with an opportunity to purchase a European 635csi, 1981 model. It has been sitting in a garage for well over a decade, inherited by the current owner in the early 2000's and stored ever since. The car is several hours drive from me, so I would very much like to know what options the car has, if any, to determine if it is worthwhile to pursue it. I have searched this forum and online, but none of the VIN decoders that I can find are currently working. If any of you happen to have access to this information, I would sincerely appreciate it if you could look up VIN 5591505 for me. All I know is it has a white exterior with tan interior. I have no idea if it has any of the desirable options such as close-ratio 5-speed, sport seats, leather, or limited slip differential. A sincere THANK YOU to anyone who is kind enough to take the time to help!
You can't decode the early e12 based cars or anything before.
Update: I did manage to get a few interior pics, and luckily it does have a 5-speed, but I do not know if it is a dogleg or not. If it is a dogleg, would that indicate that it has limited slip as well? I am not sure if those options happened to come together or not. Does anyone have a list of available options for Euro E24's for 1981? The dash seems to be in good shape with no large cracks visible in the pics. It does have leather sport seats, but the leather looks pretty worn out. Rust will be the big question. It is covered in many years worth of garage debris, and can barely be seen right now (see pics), so it will have to be dug out. I can see that it has wheel well trim, which concerns me that they may have been put on back in the day to cover rust, but hopefully they were just put on for the cosmetic effect. No real way to know about rust until I get there in person to inspect. At this point, at least I know enough now to move forward. I am prepared for the worst, but hoping for the best!

Please rescue that car...
The leather might just be a little dry. Some patience and Leatherique can do wonders....
I have not been able to locate a list of all available options for the E24, so I took the time to look through all 14 pages of this thread and download the options for the cars that Alex was kind enough to look up. I made a list of most (but not all) options that seemed interesting, so here it is in hopes it will help someone else or save them some research time:
S209A Limited SlipS481A Sport Seats
S530A Air Conditioning
S708A M-Sport Leather Steering Wheel
S533A Rear Air Conditioning
S551A On board computer
S401A Electric Sliding Sunroof

S206 Dog leg Sport Close Ratio 5-speed
S210A ABS Brakes
S498A Headrests in rear, mechanical, adjustable

Hi Vrmmm,
Do you have this list anywhere available? I would love to get the full list as I am restoring my E24 (E12 based model).

I don't think he's updating this thread any more. The data source that feeds these sites is a little wonky, sometimes it works OK.
I've had good luck putting a full VIN into this site:
https://www.mdecoder.com/
Remember, you can usually find a build sheet under the rear seats on most older BMWs. The E24 build sheets are usually a carefully folded slip of paper tucked into the leather upholstery, under one of the rear seats. Best of luck!

Another cool option is pasting those digits into parts diagram databases like RealOEM:

I have not been paying attention to this thread or forum. I can start pulling them again but need the full vin now as BMW started re-using the last 7.
