car cranks but won't start

Hi all,

I have a 97 328i.

This morning, i needed to back out my car to let other car go, it started fine and no problems whatsoever.

Then after several hours later, the car just won't start, it cranks fine. THe battery is working fine.

Any suggestion on why this is happening?

I tried to start the car with stepping on the gas, still it won't start.

Any suggestions?

The car mileage is around 90k.

How do u check is the fuel pump problem?

What do u mean by "don't flood your engine"?

Also, what is DME?
