    '98 Z3 Wheel fitment....HELP!!!

I asked this question in the wheel forum, but got no response.

I am looking at getting some wheels for a '98 2.8 Z3. The wheels are 18x8 all around with a 32mm offset up front and a 40mm offset in the rear. Will these fit my Z3 without any rubbing issues to the strut or wheel well?

    Thanks in advance.

Your gonna put a more shallow wheel on the rear of the car? 40mm on a 8 is for a front wheel on a Honda.

My guess, is you need a 9" rear on a 40. Front wheel is fine..

The rear is fine, can't say about the front. Generally 35-42mm is considered acceptable for the Z3s. My wheels are 18x8.5" with a 42mm offset.

Can anyone confirm this for me more concretely (specially the front wheel fitment)? Thanks again for everyone's replies so far.
