    Best roof rack for e46?

I want to get the thule roof rack with the little plate in the front that says Thule.

But i BMX, and I need one that is safe, and isn't a pain in the ass to get on and off

I have a Thule system. I have heard that Yakima is also very nice....

E46gg has a pretty nice one too!

I would say thule, and the plate is called a fairing.

All the E46 rack systems are probly gonna be the same. They mount via the locating points that are pre set in the cars roof line. look at the rain channel on the roof and you will see little tabs that flip up. The rack system bolts there.

    Dude, I don't even know
I agree with the top posts BUT do look on craigslist for a factory BMW one. I found one once with the luggage rack for 100 bucks(didn't have the money at the time ) and that would normally run you 500. always check there first. I like the sleekness of the factory one too

True I did get my oem one for $60 on craigslist, but the oem rack doesn't have a fairing. I bootleged one from a thule tho to fit on mine. Its probably just easier to get a thule tho.

Most people seem to like Thule for some reason. Personally, I like the way the round cross-bars work on the Yakima. It's pretty much win-win tho. Both are nice.

The thinner black cross bars that come with the Thule's and whatnot do look a little better but mine was the best price at the time... here is some pictures for ya

No because these are for vehicles that have factory roof racks. You will need the base fit kit. Shoes, bars, and hardware.

It is funny... people who drive anything expensive often get labeled by folks who drive less expensive cars. I have found, without exception, that douchebags cover all demographics and incomes. You can be an douchebag in a Echo or an Escalade.

I need to find one that will fit the bike with both wheels on it. I don't want to have to take one wheel off to put it on
