INPA on my laptop??? Connection

Okay, loaded INPA on my HP windows 10 laptop with USB ports. How do i interface the 20 pin round connector to the USB port? all 20 pin round to 16 pin where the 16 pin is a female. Where do a get a 16 pin MALE to USB cable? Will it work that way??? What am i missing?

You use the USB K+DCAN cable and a 20-pin adapter onto that.

What car are you trying to connect to?

That probably works fine.

Generally I try to get a K+DCAN cable that comes with a switch built in (it's for other models), but if only for Z3, this will work fine.

For what it's worth, I built an easy to install version made to help Z3 owners with INPA here. It also works on some other models, but focused a bit more on the older cars

Power04 thats exactly what i installed on my laptop! Any special DO's and DONT's in using the software? I have an ABS and Airbag codes so why i want to use the tool. HOWEVER i also dont want to screw anything up. Thgoughts?

Start just with error reads and clearing. You can't screw anything up there, but it'll give you plenty to go on for repairs.
