Well I have been living in south korea for the last 6 months as I am in the air force and I am stationed here for a year. I am taking my midtour leave next week and I am going to japan since the plane ticket will never be cheaper ($300) I'll be in japan for about 15 days and 7 of those I will be at ebisu. The car is for happy fun times at the track.

Benny I will be surprised if it survives the matsuri with the way I drive

It's a matsuri missle, probably cost USD $2000-3000, for use at ebisu circuit only--these cars are so cheap because there are tons of them and they aren't registered for street use because the fees (shaken) are too high.

In essence it's a disposable car. At the end of the matsuri he'll either pay a monthly fee to store the car at the track if he intends to come back frequently, or if the car is trashed it will be disposed of easily on site, or he can arrange to have it sold it to the next guy. There's the possibility of exporting it back to one's home country so long as that country isn't america--refer to the legal issues experienced by the company that used to import vintage GTRs.

You could also part out the car if you have a lot of time and the equipment to do so and have the bits shipped back home to be sold or used, etc.

once the car's 21 or 25 years old, however, you can bring it into the states with much less hassle/expense.

^ you are right it doesn't all it has is an full exhaust, a cone filter, and the boost has been raised to 10 psi so it maybe makes 200whp if im lucky I mean it is an RB20, not my favorite engine in the world.

although one thing its got going for it is A31's despite being a 4 dr they are not really that heavy. Curb weight on a stocker is supposed to be 2930lbs for a RB20DET 5sp. So thats about 300lbs lighter than my e36.

should be slot of fun Andy from PV says the handbrake works excellent

I have a demo video of Andy having some fun with it

This is just awesome. So how streamlined is the whole buying/selling process? Will Powervehicles buy the car back when you leave?

^ If its not destroyed then yes but you probably wont make your money back. Its hard as hell to push yourself here and not damage the car. These Tracks are no joke car killers.

Buy a missile from PV, pick up at ebisu, go drifting, have loads of fun, store it with them, go home.

Simple as that. There were only a few americans here and most of them from military bases in japan. There were like 20 million ozzies here we need to get some more Americans here.

    Awww Yeah...
