I've been trying to figure a way to get my wife to approve a swap that is freakin brilliant. I'm rocking that line tomorrow over coffee

    Thanks all

ECS Tuning pulled through with a fastener order.

Probably have a 2nd order to place, but for now this will get me going.

Went to my buddy Bemdub's house over the weekend and we managed to modify the E21 booster and thread the shaft down. Need to put that damned thing in and get rocking and rolling... though gfs birthday is this weekend so that prob won't happen.

Bone stock(looking) E30's are always so intriguing to me. Especially with a cloth interior that is actually vacuumed and clean.

This is a great project- keep it up!

nice build, I think your original problem with the car was computer related. Sound like the same problem I had with an old DSM .

Yeah I wish this car had the time frame/budget of mine to strip everything down and polish/powder coat. But, I am doing as much as I can.

Welp, not much progress on the actual car but I spent the last 2 weeks cleaning the garage out. You couldn't walk in the garage prior, it was terrible and embarrassing. Spent another day today cleaning up and pushed the car in!

Also put some more race deck down.

The powder coating looks pretty good, usually colored valve covers on an bmw engine looks tacky.. But it seems you've pulled it off.

i agree with you but only when done poorly. the flat color makes it look better then if it were gloss. that is flat right or is it satin?

    it looks to be wrinkle.

I'm not usually a fan of M/S50 based engines with colored valve covers, but that actually looks pretty good.
