Hi! @Shogun! Delighted to be greeted by you. When im doing my DIYs I always saw your comments to other threads that really helped me. Okay so here it goes. First of I got sick last july I was in isolation for 2 weeks. The car was just sitting then anyway when I got out first thing I did was to get the the car starting and it did. Drove it for a good hour then parked it. Upon leaving It only cranks and does not start. And I assume it was the fuel pump so I got that replaced. But still car would not start. Tried jumping fp relay 30 and 87 and pump works checking fp fuse when fp relay is jumped no power. Even crank sensor harness im not getting power. It seems im not getting power on spark and fuel. Got the dme replaced too. But still no luck. Checked relays and its getting power. Please help me. This car is really dear to me. Thanks and all the best to you and to everyone here in this forum!
There are plenty E34 tech experts here on the E34 forum, no worries. What built year/month? From where was the car imported to the Philippines? USA specification or Japan spec?
Did you already check both fusible links near the battery? See here the details based on E32, should be similar on your E34, see relevant ETM http://twrite.org/shogunnew/data/electrical.html
Fusible link A: X6400 is the power post inside the E box. It feeds only DME loads. Fusible Link A is 50 Amps.
Fusible Link B: Fusible B is 80 Amps. It feeds all the Rear Power Box loads

see comments of bmwdirtracer at the beginning of this thread about relays: quote: Main relay should have power out at both 87 and 87a, if it's only got power at 87, the relay's bad. If the fuel pump relay has power on terminal 85, it's not being activated; that should be a ground.

On an M30, if you don't have spark and fuel it's most likely a dead crank position sensor. Could be it's the same for an M50? You can check the resistance of the CPS using a digital multi-meter. Do a google search for the resistance range of the sensor.

we have to know more details about the car, VIN, built year, month, country version/specification. We only know E34 with m50b25tu engine and wth a zf5hp18 tranny. That would be 1992-1996 E34 525i, 525ix. It might have a drive away system, depending on country version http://www.gabimmers.com/docs/Servic...34/BMW_EWS.pdf. There are a number of variants of the M50 engine. TU models refer to "Technical Update" and added single VANOS to the intake cam. Detailed M50 CPS, Cam sensor, MAF, O2, temperature sensor, idle valve information
