Those are cool but it would be helpful for that guy in the video if he had his mirrors adjusted properly in the first place.

i think the mirrors were adjusted from drivers perspective and not the video camera. so they were adjusted properly. what they should have done is recorded from drivers "eyes"

I opted for the split mirrors when I swapped my mirrors out, but I check my blind spot still out of habit.

Then you're following too closely; driving too fast per traffic conditions; or you are very very slow to turn your head

Why would you want to buy something that makes you a worst driver and condones the wrong procedure when changing lanes?

    This.

It's good habit to physically turn your head and look where you're going.

So the guy says he buys some of the new euro mirrors, and everyone gets on the "please be a safe driver" kick.

    Mmmmm....very interesting.

He didn't say he was never going to "head check". This is just another semi useless upgrade to make his car "his own"...that's all.

My car is red = does not mean I am going to drive fast.

My car has a bra = doesn't mean I am going to go outta my way to kill bugs.

My car has a roof rack = I used it to haul lumber.

My car has Enkei rims = Does not mean I am conspiring with the chinese government.

My car has a removeable holeless license plate frame in the front >> I have never had it off.

So...I guess what many of you are saying is...."Knock both mirrors off the side of your car, because you should never use them anyway"????

I am purchasing these as I have kids running around, and a long driveway I have to back up, all while carefully avoiding another BMW, 2 MB's and a volkswagon (and whatever other car happens to be parked in my driveway at the time).

What does anyone use the normal mirrors for? Would it not make sense then, that an even wider angle of vision would be better?

****Not ranting....I just find it funny...thats all.....how people are so quick to judge.....how this guy is gonna drive with these mirrors.
