Replacing Bulbs Behind my e30 instrument cluster

I have a 91 318is and all the bulbs behind both the speedo and tach have gone out. What tools do i need to perform the replacement of the bulbs. Should i have to take out the steering wheel?? Any and all info is welcome and greatly appreciated.

Here is a link to how to get at them.

You may be able to get the cluster out with the wheel still on, but you may also do some damage. I always remove the steering wheel.
