I believe so. My uncle lived in Germany told me the price here is more affordable. May be due to the higher salary??

Its just cheaper for some damn reason. Be it taxes elsewhere or subsidies there. WHO KNOWS.

All it means is, if you love bmw, america is the place to buy.

not really, it means if you buy in america you get stuck with cheaper materials like plastic headlights and less powerful engines etc...

Yet isn't BMW's profit margin second only to Porsche?

i highly doubt they'll be raising the price of the 7's. THey were allready selling at $1000 over invoice price 2 months ago when i looked into one. THe 760! HAH they have to slash the price on that thing to move it out the showroom doors- why? cause mb's s600 has TWINS (turbos)

I spend way too much time hanging out at the local BMW dealerships... When almost anything happens, I get an email from a variety of sales guys.

    Thumbs up

dang, how did u get so close to the sales ppl there Kev? I wanna do that too lol... Hm, and I think the reason other countries are more expensive is b/c they have Euro Spec BMWs... (clear taillights, front corners, sidemarkers etc..) and most of our BMWs are actrually assembled in Spartanburg, SC, USA : instead of Germany... one example is the Z4. but owellz, i guess the $400 increase of all BMWs isn't that much then... (we can always get clear front corner, sidemarker, taillights, interior items in other places rite? isnt that what's eBay for? :12:
