My accelerator pedal squeaks. I think shogun recently posted instructions on replacing a bushing to fix the problem but I can't find the post.
just go to realoem.com and with your VIN select your car and go to pedals, there you see the pushes, the bushes have different sizes for brake and accel pedal, change them all. Mine were broken respect. one was completely missing.

Have you tried oil or grease on the pivot points? That would be the first thing I tried.
we have changed them now on 3 E32, all these bushes were cracked or partly missing. It is time to change, guys, that are wear parts. Much better accel feel now too.

Yes. shogun referenced that in his old post (wherever it is) about the fix. The issue is the plastic bushings squeak and lubricating them does not help much.Have you tried oil or grease on the pivot points? That would be the first thing I tried.

I have a squeaking brake pedal. Is this likely to be the same issue (bushings)?

I assume, I had the same noise, now it is gone with the new bushes, not even need to spray with grease or so. Vey cheap these bushes.

Mine was squeaking too. I pulled it up toward me to create a little gap and shot some white lithium grease into it. It's been quiet for 6 months so far.
As someone asked my for pics, here on an E32 done in Japan http://alpinakozou.web.fc2.com/file/.../20100103.html

Mine just developed a squeak, was thinking it was the pivot on the pedal itself where it meets the metal bar. I have already replaced the bushings with the newer clear ones.
