I think you should let me drive it someday!
Hey Guys,
Well I guess I am the newbie on the board. I've been posting on dtmpower.net for a little over a year and finally decided to check out bimmerforums. Anyway, the main reason I decided to post over here is because I heard lots of other Georgia BMW fanatics were on this board. So, about me....I am 21 years old and from Atlanta. I go to school at UGA and am a Junior. I used to drive an 89' 325i 5 speed coupe, but that was smashed into a tree. My new car is a 95' 325is 5 speed hellrot coupe that is bone stock. It took me three years owning BMW's, but I finally joined the BMW CCA a few weeks ago and am a member of the peachtree chapter like many of you. I'm planning on participating in this years autocross season and I hope to meet some of you out there. Also, I am entertaining the thought of going to SEMAG , so if anyone wants someone to caravan with let me know. OK...I'm done, Sorry for the long post!
Later,
-Clayton

I have been on e46fanatics for quite a while and found this board. I was glad to see so many posts from the GA area.
I am wondering about joining the Peachtree Chapter, can anybody tell me about some of the benefits if any. Do they have lots of meets or drives or what? Thanks in advance.

I've been quiet lately. I've been lurking but have not been saying much. I just wanted to say hey to my Georgia boys.

Glad to see we have some UGA fans here! I am 28 and from the Duluth area. I purchased my car in Oct 03 and love it! I have had many Saleen Mustangs in the past, but have always had an affinity for BMW's. I completed my first BMW CCA driving school at Road Atl last month and would encourage those of you who have not done this to add it to your list of priorities.

I've noticed a little wear where I usually hold the steering wheel at the 10 o'clock position. Nothing anyone else would notice, just the material is a little matted down. Other than that, it's great. I love being able to grab the steering wheel without burning my hands off after the car has been sitting out in the sun all day .
