Pointless to get Larger Injectors w/out custom chip?

Figured my 17.5 injectors are pretty much maxed out. And if I can goto the Ford dealership for 24lb injectors for about $200, why not? I just dont want to spend $700-900 on a custom tuned chip.

You think anyone will ever come out with a generic chip for cars with specific upgrades? ie. instead of a chip programmed for the euro hfm setup, to add larger injectors and/or various other basic mods such as exhaust.

turnermotorsport.com will sell you a generic for the euro hfm kit and injectors. eurosport will but they say you don't need larger injectors with the euro hfm kit.
