I have '99 M3 and this is the first time since I bought the car I'm replacing brake pad and rotors (all 4). Do I also need to replace the brake pad sensor too?
Thanks

www.racepad.com under tech has a write up.
You need a 7mm short hex driver.

You dont need to if you can carefully take them out without breaking the ceramic. There only about $10 ea and all you need is 2 so u might as well order them.
sensors:
The racepad instuctions are dead on, except the part about using a screwdriver to remove the sensors. I had a tough time with this, and just used needle nose pliers. Worked great and preserved the sensor.

For some reason I thought there are 4 sensor.Originally posted by C///M3

Should I bother saying no there are only 2 sensors?
They assume the two sides will wear evenly. So thus one for the left front and right rear.

What pad/rotors are you going to use?
