    Much. I think it sounds really good. Better than a fart-canned four-banger, at the very least. The aggressiveness is there; it just needs a little "coaching" from a high-flow resonator/muffler combo. Then it will sound less uncouth.

    Look I had a e39 540 and I did resonators delete and muffler delete and pipe it from cats back and it was like a fuckin old school Camaro!!! Now my e39 530i I do exactly same set up yet bcuz the headers are more restrictive on the 530 it sounds like barely muffler delete so I would do open headers my boy or do a cat delete!!!!!
