That Hartge is a beast! It's the Old Dirty BAsterd of the Wu Tang Clan of BMW.

I always loved this video. I remember seeing it years ago.

I don't like Alpina's front bumper style (especially the pinstripes on it) and the steering wheel's pretty ugly, but overall it's still a great looking car. I love those wheels...

Does anybody have numbers of how many they sell here in the US?
I tried looking at a few different sites, but could only get a few different years/models.. I'm wondering how many e46 based cars were released..
is it me or does the alpina in the video look different than the one from the OP??
    Built by me, for me.

    Yes. Zero.

So far, Alpina has never built a 3-Series variant for the US market. The only official ones we have gotten were the Alpina Roadster (Z8) and the last two B7s. Oh and some engineering components like the cams in the 330 ZHP and the engine block of the X5 4.6iS.

And to the morons who think that Alpinas only come with automatics need to check their facts and realize that there are most certainly manuals. Some are not available any other way.

A few of the thousands of manual Alpina cars.

I don't think looks half bad, I mean it doesn't look certainly up to date exterior wise, but still good looking.

    Rating, from 0-10 (10 is best) = 5.

Now if it had a manual transmission, it would definitely be a 9.

Saw a B7 in Chicago... I'm not sure how I feel about it. It's like one of those things you're ashamed to admit you don't like. Like a Jackson pollock painting or something.

The new b7 looks brilliant though.

Hello, I just found a left hand drive e46 Alpina. It's in rough shape but they are badass cars, No?!? It's a vert. and an automatic. It just sits on the front lawn. I've never seen an Alpina on the e46 chassis. It's very Kool looking and doesn't seem to have all the pinstriping. I'd post the picture but I'm an idiot and don't know how. 😐
