E46 compact with an M5 V10 engine

hi guys,
I'm on my 2nd BMW and want it to be a long term project if it's do able?
I say long term as I'm guesstimating a heavy cost to do it but ide really like to get a M5 V10 engine in to my 2005 E46 compact.
Haa anyone here done it?
Ide imagine it being an epic drive...all that power in such a short stocky chassis and the grin factor being immense!
Any info etc would be helpful.

Also a lot of guys on here are from the US where we didn't receive the E46 compact. I'd start by finding out if there are differences in the front end from a normal E46 and then start reading through those builds if there aren't any/much differences

only visible differences I know of are the bonnet/headlights etc. don't know if the battery is in the boot like on a compact to be honest. I know there has been a few m3 e46 compacts built by enthusiasts over here in blighty and that some big engines have been put into the older e36 compacts...maybe my idea could be a bit outlandish right now?
I've seen on YouTube an e46 coupe' with the v10 engine (sounds phenomenal!).
