i find that to be a perfectly acceptable price for an invisible car. imagine the possibilities. the only down fall, you could not drive it in traffic.

Wow, If thats a reasonable price... I guess mine would be worth about 75k with a clear title. I mean I guess the publicity of someone trying to sell it for 50k can only be a good thing. We should all make fake listings on ebay of our cars for outrageous prices and "buy them" from each other to boost the market values.

betcha the hazard switch still causes issues on those invisible e21's
anyone message this guy, just for the hell of it?
I have $1,000,000 in an account in The Sudan that I can't access.
Maybe he could wire just $10K to that account to establish himself as a co-holder of that account, transfer $800,000 to me and keep the balance as payment on the invisible car?

2.50 a gallon wow so cheap....we are at $3.41 here now, the gas price went down in the lower 48 and it went up 6 cents a gallon here....
if a 323 is 50k a 323 baur must be almost in the priceless range. I'll trade my baur for an M1 lol.
The Frozen Baur (AKA The Frozen Ground) now on Netflix (John Cussack is driving the Omega behind the Baur)
Not sure if you got a response to your invisible ink message, but here's the one I got:
"Sorry, the ad is a mistake. Sorry about that. I will be removing it soon."
i24 hours later, still not gone. I'm on board with AutoBombe's idea, the '81 is going up on fleabay for $35,000 this afternoon
I did send him an email in invisible ink. He responded in kind.
No wait... here is his response:
Dear toms_cat1,
Sorry, the whole ad is a mistake. I am planning on removing it soon. Sorry about that.

OK, this is a little off-topic, maybe even a little off the wall.... but .... last night Tom D, my friend Bill K., and I stopped in at F40 Motorsports in Portland CT before we went to dinner. I was perusing the F40 website later on, and I came across this pic, which was taken at an F40 Car show back in 2009. My reaction was.... WTF?
I found this quote:
"The purple car, is Davis #9, serial #482E99, which I visited in Oregon in 1998, which has bounced around several owners and a couple of auctions, and was reputedly last known to be headed for Connecticut! What a Distinction!!! The only Davis in all of New England. I have E-mailed the owner, but no response"
Also:
"a 1948 Davis "Divan" coupe ... 1 of 13 made ... all aluminum body ... removable hardtop ... 3 wheeler ... most ran a Hercules or Continental inline-four powerplant ... but this one was powered by a V8-60 Flathead!"
... on this site:

Meet the 'Davis Divan"!

At least for me this was ..... learn something new every day.... !!

They may be stupid questions to you, but I still don't know the answer; therefore I ask.
Ummmm.... I think this pic is for real.

Wayne Carini had a show that followed him around as he chased down classic cars to buy. I saw the episode where he bought the purple car. Interesting piece of history but not very well received with the 3 wheels.

I bet it has the same problem as a reliant robin with that single wheel up front.
