Have not posted for a while. I got a few parts left, just found a 323i in the yard down under, I got the oil filter housing and the 323i arms.
Those arms are for my buddies car.

The final push is on: Ordered some STI black ignition wires: Where can I get the coolant hoses?

    [/URL]

And a custom e30 center chop into the e21 subframe - cause you can strip the diff easy in our cars...

Sure....eBay! My fav place haha... Look for fill silicone, whatever color you desire... I like silicone cause it doesn't break down like rubber....

and car/engine running like a champ! Monday I'm going to the paint shop to see when I can drop her off... I'll be taking off all the trim and glass... So no overspray or missing parts! They can't screw that up, huh? Haha

Thank you very much. I promise a few shows, and maybe a trophy.

SKI I never ran it a day with the Miller war chip. Since you have to drive it, shut it off, log it, turn it on and tune it its time a lot of time to dial in correctly.

With the Mega Squirt module its one day and its tuned. You are one and done.

The Miller war chip with base stroker map is for sale....

Been too long. I sold my DINAN rear subframe to my friend is going M50 into his 320i, been helping him get all the parts for the swap.
Baurspotting parted a 323i that we got a lot of parts from for my friends swap. However the rare m20 323i 5 speed from Baurspotting turned into a 4 speed - so to get the m50 set up right we had to crack both transmissions and take the 5 speed from the 320i and insert it into the bell housing of the 323i one. More on this later...

So I took the money from the Dinan Adjustable rear subframe sale and sent my extra set of e21 323i strut housings to England.
With the strong dollar I now have Gas Coil Overs Being made for this car.
Thinking about 350 front 275 rear springs....and going to get the camber adjustment front upper strut bearings.

Also I got a second 325i wiring harness to make one wiring harness and to extend the wiring in the bay.

Performance BMW has hinted that they want to feature my car....oh man, if I could just get it finished off and take it to a few shows I would be so Happy.

My buddy will have his M50 in his e21 I hope to take a few pics with his car as well. Next up I have to get an e30 diff.....will update photos once more progress is made....

Taking to the next level with Gaz coil overs, 375 front and 250 rears, for the car. Cant wait to start driving this car...

Debating weather to get the camber plates for the upper strut bearings, the roads in Boston are utter rubbish right now....

Sweet setup Wish I remembered what springs I'm running in mine, but I think they're prefect. Still great for the freeway runs and around towns but hard enough for cornering....I guess I got lucky!?

GAZ allows you to run different spring rates that it came with they can be switched out easily. M60b30530i - how do you like the spring rates that you are using, and are you running bilsteins with yours?

Ski - yes I forgot what you used. How is the handling on you car?
PS:I am going to PM You later in the week as I have a new front kidney and I want your help separating it, I am sending it out to be chromed,
and the part that goes under the dash I am recovering that in fabric and need your help.

The part 1 you are looking for is the array of hoses, check valves and fittings for brake booster vacuum supply.
If you are going to a standalone using speed density or anything other than a MAF/AFM you would most likely just want to run a brake booster vacuum hose
right to your brake booster check valve and not use the array of fittings BMW did with the Motronic 1.3.

I am glade to see progress as always with your car, it sure has been a journey!!

Jeff thanks so much...your car was an inspiration....for this build....We are getting really close now. I have my fingers crossed, that there are no issues with the brand new engine, as I have done everything three times already.

I am running the MILLER MAF and Miller War chip, so I think I need part 1. The miller war chip plugs into the 173 ecu, and it sets the values on a lot of settings, and its like a stand alone.. Do you think I can run just a brake booster hose off the throttle body directly into the brake booster? What does the brake booster vacuum supply do?

    take care,
    Joe

I got totally simplified my setup so it doesn't look so crowded and ugly. You don't need sooo many hoses going into one and blah, blah, blah.....one simple hose going to check valve and that going into the booster.

I also bypassed the heating coolant going into the throttle body....Not sure what that's all about? I know in any project...street, race, drag etc...you want the coldest air going in at ALL times and they put a heating element within the TB??? Don't get it....well, mine is gone....Love it...nice n clean

    - - - Updated - - -

So I presume there are variations of the rubber intake boot, cause I don't have that one part that connects to the vacuum hoses? One of the holes at the TB that you have 2 and I have one is plugged there....that's why simplified
