Anyone know a good mechanic in West Los Angeles

Anyone know a good mechanic in West Los Angeles. I just bought a 1990 325i and I just wanna get it check out to see if everything is in working order. From as far as my limited knowledge can tell, it seems fine but I'd like to get a professional opinion.

Bavarian Workshop is good (albeit a little expensive), but they are over in the Valley. Marc does thorough work. If you were willing to come to Ventura County I'd recommend Brad Kyle at Brad's Motor Werkes in Thousand Oaks.

Sold - lives in TX now: 1998 M3/4/5, 106k miles (TCKline s/a, 350#/400#, TCK camber plates, H&R front sway)

GT International (on Olympic near Barrington) (310-575-4249). Very expert on BMWs/E30s. On the more expensive side, but you get what you pay for.

German Motors (on Lincoln near ocean park) (310-396-8440). Good knowledge on BMWs and reasonably priced (I'd use this guy the most, but he's far from my office).

Fix-Car-Now (Motor Avenue near National). (310-558-9097) Not a BMW-specific shop. Owners are really helpful and top quality customer service.
