2011 BMW X5 35D Tailgate noise when closing

Hi all, I took the delivery of 2011 BMW X5 35D 3 weeks back. The vehicle is excellent in every way except for the closing of the power tailgate. The tailgate makes a noticeable sound when it closes as if it hits the metal. Please let me know if this is the same with other owners of X5 or its just me. I wanted to make sure before I go back to the dealer. Thanks

How's your x5 35d working out? how many miles are you up to? I am looking at a used one right now. Have you had many problems?

Are you sure you don't hear the soft closing latch.
