My wife's 2007 328xi has a production date of 12/06. Her radio and steering wheel have the bluetooth controls.
How do we go about getting the radio to connect to her iPhone for handsfree calling? Were not interested in integrating music with the iPhone, just calling.
There is a mic mounted above the rearview mirror as well. It's beyond frustrating to figure this out. We've seen stuff on BMW assist, iPhone integration docks, etc, etc. All we want to know is what we need to buy to allow handsfree voice communication to go through the car radio.
Any advice?
Eric:
Love your handle!
All you'll need is likely the module and the microphone, both of which are available at your dealer. There are a few dealers that offer discounts to BMWCCA members, otherwise you can expect to pay somewhere around $700-$800 for the factory pieces.
Best of luck to you! Check out www.realoem.com for part numbers so that you can possibly comparison shop.
