You should be fine to sell on here as long as you have contacted Kevlar and made your intentions clear.

Spoken to Mark - the situation there is still the same in that they are 'somewhere' in Production/Manufacture.

However - there are a couple of sets of these wheels without the large rear lip - so 8.5x19 all round available for anyone who prefers this setup. Mark asked me to put this infomation up just in case there are any of you who may wish to consider these sets. Price is £520 for the set of four. This works out at approx $795 USD (todays rate being £1 = $1.53 USD) and shipping is $275 USD which includes extra protection insurance of upto £500. Total here would be $1070 to your door.

For future reference in this thread, $275 -300 should be kept in mind for the shipping costs from here to you in the USA. All four wheels do come in at 40KG or about 90llbs in weight and of course will be brand new in their boxes. The above shipping quote I've added in the 'extra insurance' to be on the safe side. £500 of cover costs £10 or $15 extra and £750 of cover costs £15 or $23 extra. So the quote would be those amounts 'lower' for no insurance. I think it's a no brainer to pay that small amount more just in case things go missing. You'll all be glad to know it's DHL or UPS (one of the two I believe) who are the carriers used and right up to your door - so no potentially smaller local courier's deliverers etc. Another advantage is, although the service is listed as their 5+ day service, the last set of wheel made it to the door in 3!

As ever, I'll be looking to see if I can speak to some of my other contacts to see if I can arrange a better shipping quote. The above is a single order for a set of 4 wheels to any of you individually - which I think isn't a bad price at all !

The service I'm using is here http://www.parcel2go.com/

Plug in 2 packages, 20 KG each, 50cm x 50 x 50. (A single package of almost 1 metre long is difficult to handle and wrap up well and strong and securely enough)

Remember, the same service can be used for other wheels, and indeed anything else you may see over here that is needed. I'm happy to help out and send parts and goodies across !

Once I know more, I'll update and to all those who are interested, I'll ask for contact, email addresses, mobile/cell numbers and payment details etc.

Cheers all, Dennis, West London UK!
Tempting but I've got to wait for the 10" rears. Plus I have no 'extra' cash right now due to a massive unsuspected vet bill.

edit... To anyone's who's curious/interested, our dog went in for a tooth cleaning and came out with two major surgeries. Glad they found the problems though. One could have killed him quickly if not taken care of right away!!! Sorry for going off topic.

    Exactly.

These would go great on my touring (shooting for the heavily-modded yet still "unmodded look"), but then I'd have to find a new home for the RG-R's . . .

    Hiya

Byslexic - I've never heard of, or seen, or been told of any replica's with a 10 inch wide rear wheel option. Do you have a link or any more knowledge of those?

Mad Dog - Are your RG-R's genuine wheels? they're BBS wheels right? if so, I'd say definitley keep those if they're genuine and get the M Parallel replica's as perhaps a 2nd or spare set of wheels.

I'll get some more updates later this week for you all - hopefully there's more news on them and can perhaps get moving with the next stage in sorting you all out with a set

most members here are waiting for the 10" wide rear wheels, I think they have a 3.5" rear lip.

Jasnite rear lip is not deep at all, some run all 4 (front & back) on E39's.

Take a look at this link: (post #2 & #5)

    http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1478234

I think BMW TUNING was dealing with the wide rear wheels (19x9.5).

Also here is a link with 4" rear lip:

    Hi White e39 et al,

As I mentioned earlier, I've never seen or have heard about till byslexic mentioned it about a 10 inch wide rear M Parallel replica wheel. In all the postings about these wheels, to those who have them, they're all 9.5 inch rears.

The link I posted to bmautosport for everyone to take a look will show them as the 9.5x19 for the rear wheels. I have no idea where to ask or start looking for this '10 inch wide' rear wheel. My guess at this stage is that they'll probably never be made in this Replica form/format.

Now unless BMW Tuning and or some other vendors are going to start making them, I do not know - I'm just going to be offering to ship the wheels from BMautosport to any of you guys who have really been hankering for 19 inch M Parallel replica's.

So to ALL who've expressed an interest - Are you all wanting a 10 inch wide rear wheel ?

    Cheers, Dennis! West London UK!

I sent him a PM, lets see what he replys.

19x9.5" with the extra deep lip at the rear is still good.

    Thumbs up

White E39.....My rear wheels are 19x9.5 with a 3.5 inch lip. Believe me, pictures do not do justice. Mine are the same as the pics that you have attached. When you get a chance, buy a set,and see for yourself.

but don't worry I'm running 20x10" with a 4" lip now with out them sticking out. I'm just looking for a 2nd set.

I'm waiting for the info on the 4" lip from titoe39

Ok, I'm not looking too confident about the 10" rears now.

    These have the 10" rears.

It looks like the more lip you get, the more the spokes start to convex in (or out?) making the spokes curve more rather than keeping a flat face.
Also, I think there are a few variants of these going around. I've noticed like on these, the edge profile of the spokes is a bit more rounded, therefore smoother. Some I've seen, which I think look better, is the edge profile is a machined defined edge so the spokes are a bit more "square."

It's almost like the 9.5s would be a good compromise between deep lip flat face.

    Hi,

Byslexic - Titoe39 has updated his thread over on bimmerfest and confirms he has 9.5x19 on the rears.

In 'all' the talk and wants and wheels I've seen - I've never heard of a 10 inch wide rear wheel, replica or original etc. Overall, 10 inch wide on the E39 is too wide for 99% of owners as they don't really want to go to 285 or 295 width tyres.

So, just to confirm, the wheels I'll get from here - most likely from BMAutosport will be 9.5x19 rears.

    Cheers, Dennis! West London UK!

    Hi NY PONE E39

The wheels if you take a look on page one and the link I've provided - are Replica wheels, they have no part numbers or anything like that - they're replicated/copied somewhere in China every so often in limited batches.
If you mean sizing, please take a look at the link and you'll see all the information about them there.

    Cheers, Dennis! West London UK!

    Hiya

Pricing has not been set my BMAutosport as yet, but take a look at my 'guesstimation' post from a few days ago. I'm doing this as a favour to get them across to you guys, you'll see how much they are on his website when he officially announces them - currently they're showing as £599 - but that's still not official as far as I know. I'll speak to Mark early next week to get an update.

    Cheers! Dennis! West London UK!

    Hiya all,

Update time, I've just been speaking to Mark, and there is a small element of progression which relates to the fact a representative of the company who are actually making the wheels say they've had a few delays with other elements of their business and the M Parallel wheels are due to go into that production run very shortly.

Not quite what we want to hear, but it looks like there is going to be a batch made very shortly! So early estimates were for August, but this now is realistically looking like September at this latest update.

I can only relay what Mark tells me and currently the above is it. He knows I have this potential deal here for you USA/Canadian guys and will endeavour to call me if he hears anything in the meantime. Else, I'll try him towards the end of next week to gain more information.

It's sounding a little bit like the Dynavin/Hualingan E39 saga more and more isn't it !!

Fingers crossed it won't be the 6+ months of time that's needed so far!

    Cheers, Dennis! West London UK!

    Hi everyone,

    Further update.

Just been speaking to Mark, and the delays are due to some manufacturing glitches at the factory. Apparently these are now fixed or imminently due to be fixed and the production run is slated to happen shortly.

Other potential sellers are in the same boat of course.

I'll give him another call end of next week to see if production has been confirmed by then, if it has, then with packing and shipping times etc I'd expect mid september for any of the stock being here. If there's delays still, then of course it'll be later than that.

Cheers for now! Dennis! West London UK!

Hey dennis, is there a possibility of a rim with the same dimensions just 18inch?
