Nice looking meet, some beautiful cars.

Seeing pics of meets like this makes me realize how boring the e38 color choices were.

Awesome meet! I was planning to come down with seven40il for the meet. Was looking forward to meet Edwin "THE E38 GURU". Unfortunately im an international student in canada and need a visa to visit the states

Im new to the E38. Only had mine for about 1.5 years. I truely luv the car. Everytime I park it i always turn around and look at it. Fills my heart with joy

I think Edwin wouldve sorted me out as I have connected my AE through the DRL from the fuse box. Wires and all hehehe

    Thanks Duke,
But mine came with the diamond key. I believe all 99-01's did. As for the keypad ignition mod, I do have a new Z8 "Push to Start" button, but the keypad code a la Transporter is all you bud <grin>.
I assume you've seen the post from someone who did that one using the keypad from a small office safe? Can't remember where I saw thatpost but it looks a lot like the film and even worked.

Here are the few pictures I took time for:

I put my AE's in, they look AWESOME!!!!, It was easy since it was previous wired.

Rode behind a chrome oil tanker for about 2 miles just enjoying the view, then I realized I going to be late for work.

WTB: Dinan Spring set, for the 750iL

You work hard, discover that success is not a destination but rather a road you travel upon- mostly up hill. Then, after a while, people going down the other road look up at you, and they call you "lucky."

    +1

Shled, the electronics in your car alone blew my mind!

Not all 99-01's. Mine is a 2000, well build date of 99 and I have the older key. I believe it was the 01's only in North America

Not to mention his bumping sound system, i must say...shled's got a very flavorful vehicle there. But too bad I can't be in on your valve cover swappage program.
"Secondly, there are plenty of realistic BMW owners in here posting that they lost. I don't see you asking asinine questions in their threads. What about the Ferrari kills Ingenere posts?"

    I'd give the NY & PA roads a 4 out of 10
4 out of 10 because you were on the good side of the state. NW PA is getting very dangerous for regular cars. I bottomed out both my olds 88 and the 7 doing about 10 mph several times recently because the holes are so deep and the road heaves up so much.

Also, where is the road kill in this pic. Something must be wrong....
Nice to see so many people having fun

I only had two of the four working and they was hanging on by a thread. When I took them out the thread popped, so the garbage they went.
