update. double ended this car on the wall in MB.. pretty sure i broke an axle on initiation and that caused a whole buncha things to happen.. resulting in a rear contact and frontal impact with a concrete wall.

parting out.. picking up a ti this week.. what do you need? will be posting in FS also..

well to be fair it was a 4 cyl complete drivetrain.. but yes i was impressed to at the durability of the motor and trans.. never had given the axles a thought, but for sure the cheap solution of a welded diff put a hurt on them.

new projekt.. 11JZ111 picked up a 97 z3 last night and i think you can figure out the rest. build thread soon. bc coils and z28 rims went on today, cage goes in next week or over christmas break.

sean/PGT if you still have that r151 tranny i may be able to do something with it soon..

The R151 is sold, sounds like a cool Z3 project though, keep us updated. I'm in Florida for the holidays BTW.

ill build my own mount kit. i have a bunch of square foot pieces of 3/8" steel plate.

i advertised my other 95 318Ti on craigslist, for sale or to trade for a z3, running or non running. Took a week and a guy called me.. i went and picked up the car a few days later. blew my mind too..

tomorrow is the first drift event in the car. stock 1.9L and open diff but will still be a blast. pics and vid will be posted in the build thread i'll start in a few days.
