Bike is by far the fastest, 2002 and M3 are about equal but completely different rides. Pictures to be updated soon when E30 M3 is done and on the road. S1000 is still going strong!
BMW is the top most brand in the world so we are waiting for his motorcycles..I hope it will also grab the market.
I must admit, even as a Ducati owner, I like the new BMW. If I were ever to by a 4 cylinder, it would be the MV Agusta or the BMW. I hear the Aprillia V-4 is nice also.
Nice !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still craving for one of these bad boys. Waiting for their pricing to hit around $10,000 for a team colored bike and I'll probably get my hands on one with a loan. Not even going to think about what insurance costs for a mid 20's guy. The gsxr already costs about 1,200/yr for full coverage.
I'm pretty sure bmw has always been top of the market for motorcycles, just not in the sport bike category. You know motorcycles is what started bmw, not cars.

Holy cow you either have REALLY bad driving record or are being ripped off.
I pay $467/year for full coverage with theft, new bike replacement, and $250 deductible.... $1,200 sounds crazy expensive to me.
BMW is nice.... KTM > BMW though.
To be fair I use a company called Riders Insurance... they are only in a few states right now (Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia, and a few more on the east coast)....
But I was quoted by state farm about 3 weeks ago for $520/year same coverage but that was with their discount if I brought my car over to them as well.
