BMW Bavaria C professional RDS pixel problems

    Hello all,

I've been having this radio for several months, and I'm still having the problem with the pixels.
It seems to be the same as the problem with the MID display in the E38.
But still I'm unable to find a new ribon cable to fix it in place.
besides from this some people told me that soldering separate wires on the LCD glass should be possible - well I've tried it and it didn't work.
I'm now thinking of buying a conductive glue and using tiny wires from an electric motor or a relay.
Since this glue costs 20 euro for 3grams I'm planning to use an old recipe for making the same glue at home - 1 part polyvinyl-chloride glue + 2 parts silver or copper dust + 2 parts graphite dust.

I'm not quite sure that this would work so I'm opened for new ideas for now.
If you can you can help

Bosch Germany, which owns blaupunkt, ist offering repaired radios with 1 year guarantee.
I just ordered one there on German Ebay

Shogun, this is Becker radio, not a Blaupunkt one.
I wish someone had more technical tips to help on the topic...

Please post some photos of the LCD panel and both ends of the cable. We might have some ideas.

It's one and the same as the E38 LCD screen cable etc.
    just the cable is shorter...

Sorry, but that information doesn't help since I don't know anything about the E38 LCD screen or cable.

Please post photos and then we may have some techniques to help you with your problem.
