    Oil leak near filter housing

    Does anyone know how difficult/expensive it is to fix this leak? This pic was taken at startup, and the leak lessens after its running. Strangely I don't lose very much oil.

    That may be the same leak I had. If it is, it's a freeze plug that's on your oil sending unit that holds the oil filter. The part is $400 from BMW, but after 2 of them I finally got a good one. Mine is also a 92 325, same motor I guess.
