Post INFO-> So you want ipod/mp3 integration...

the ipod/mp3 integration links you need to know about:

Dice, ol' reliable. does what it says:

    Dice manual:

Intravee, relies on an alpine integration unit that's out of production:

Dension, slow no longer available, but this chart will help you choose if you run across something on ebay:

That SD card one, FAST plus drag and drop ease of use:

MY OPINION (i know, opinions are like butts - we all have them, and they all stink. but this one's pretty much the right one.):
dice. all of these options allow for steering wheel control and 1/8" audio auxiliary input. from what i can tell (Ed will come along and correct me if need me), all except the SD one display ID3 info on the monitor or cluster display. but for the same money you spend on the sd card job, you can get the dice and an ipod. since the sd unit only supports that, and not sdhc, you're limited to 32 gigabytes per card. the current ipod holds 3.75 times that and displays your title/artist/album info (in that order). there is a difference between artist and album artist, and i'm not sure which is displayed (i assume artist), but i have all my songs so they're both the same and suggest that for you. if ONLY one could display album art up there, i'd be happier than a pig mucking about in it's own excrement.

ALSO: if you have dsp (if you have nav, you have dsp), you'll need that adapter as well. what's dsp, you might be asking aloud. or not. anyway, it's an equalizer and general huge pain in the ass. but HEY! you can make your reo speedwagon's greatest hits sound like it's in a cathedral. whoopdie freakin' do.

last thing: head over to mojo's sub install and do SOMETHING about the ghastly bass in these cars. even if you're not bumping jay z's latest, it's gonna make a huge difference. you don't have to turn it up so loud your fillings shake loose. if you found this, you can find that. but if you're too lazy to click back, here:

EDIT: if you're averse to having itunes on your computer, and i suppose i can understand that, there are a plethora of options to take its place, winamp being the one at the top of my head at the moment.

A little video of the install
