So Im minding my business driving down the street and what do I see an 850i convertible. I know bmw didn't make a convertible 850 but it looks factory to me sorry about the angles but I was driving when I took the pics

That's pretty cool. There's a factory E34 M5 convertible in the factory's possession. That's a cool car too. So many good ideas they didn't take advantage of.

BMW tried to make a convertible version but the car was too unstable. There are still two factory prototypes (one red and the other one black) existing and you can visit bouth in germany. The red one is in munich at the BMW Classic Museum and the other in hanover.
