    E34 radio placement "gauge pod"

Going to make a cnc'd plate to hold them. Nothing too complex, but I found some nice abs plastic that's textured to match, and we'll machine the plate to have the right radius and all on the edges. Should be hot. I have a 1'x1' piece, so if anyone wants on, please let me know I can make a couple.

This obviously replaces the radio, which I know not many people will be fans of.

If I had boost I wouldn't need a radio. That is going to look great!

Plug your ipod directly into the amp, skip the radio.

Looking forward to the end results.

Yes you do. It's round and purple and sits just behind your passenger side headlight.

...I'll trade you if you want. I've still got the stock stereo.

Will you take a check that is sure to bounce? I'll even write it with extra zeros.

Not sure yet - I'll let you know how many I can make on the 1'x1' piece. Prob 3. I also haven't thought about how to attach it to the radio surround. Could make some simple brackets off the gauge(s), I may just glue mine.

I like the all business look of that. I still haven't come up with a good solution for locating my boost gauge, ect. Would love a setup in front of the shifter but this is cool too. Nice work.

I actually just ordered an E36 piece from eBay for VDO gauges. Only $22 shipped, should fit in the E34, and accept my VDO gauges that I already have at home.
