^^ What'd Branch have to say?
Does anybody know who's got the BG M3/4 w/Modena Interior, chrome (possibly Beyern Rims) over by 2nd BCT (I believe it is). I left a note on the window.

I'm down for a get together sometime. Let me know where and when. I've got the Silver 98 sedan (4BCT) and I also have a 97 Black Sedan in need of a lot of work that just sits in a mechanic's shop haha.
Who's up for a meet Friday/Saturday night? There's a bit of interest amongst m3forum users in the area as well.
BBS RC041/BMW Style 29
Saturday better for me-blown right rear wheel bearing so I gotta get that fixed before I rip the thing off. Try to get that done Friday night after work.
Shitey! Never done a bearing before but from what I've read - it's no fun.
BBS RC041/BMW Style 29
Haha-ya they are! I did my rear two on my '94 325i but that was about 10yrs ago so I'm gonna leave it to a professional this time
You know of a good place to grab a good beer - and possibly a bite to eat - to have a small meet at?
BBS RC041/BMW Style 29
Hooters is always popular-haha, if not BWW-I only say those because I haven't been to those in a while. Other than that I would say Carolina Ale House. I got a buddy with a Lotus that I'm sure would come out. Don't know too many guys with E36s though.
I've been to the Ale House once - and the atmosphere was great! Seems like a decent place to have a meet. Saw an Exige on post Friday last week - older gentleman, wing on the back.

Ale house is pretty good, great beer, hot chicas, my kind of place. I have one guy in my unit with a '95 w/SC but he's trying to get rid of it right now. What unit are you with? I saw a green M3 Sedan about a month ago on Yadkin but never again, NY plates.
So, most likely a no go on Ft. Bragg. Apparently all the Infantry BN's are full down there? I thought a couple of ya'lls BCT's just got back ~july/august timeframe about when my SBCT got back from Afghanistan? (Infact, one of ya'lls brigades took over the Arghandab river valley from me... )
Anyways as much as I'd like to get back down to Ft. Bragg, it doesn't look good. I'll most likely extend for a couple months and go to Italy.

l1ttlej7 - the bg M3 sedan is actually a 328 I believe (I left a note on the guys windshield) - he got back to me through here - bbimmer (or something like that - he's got no posts). According to his profile it's a 328 I'm part of USACE.
bokes - IMO Italy>Bragg anyday! I'm jealous - never saw Europe with the Army - only MF Korea. I'll even watch your 330 for you

Haha-a trick! Oh well it was an interesting setup anyway, not sure if I like the color but I did like that it was different. That was my BN that look over the ARV for you guys, I could tell you that you can probably get to Bragg with the RFORGEN cycle coming up for most of us anyway. Did you know a CPT Givens by any chance? I'm pretty good friends with him
Hahaha yeah I'm pretty stoked about Italy. It'll keep me from going to Korea, and I get to bring my 330 with me!!! And my GSXR!!! Woohoo!!!
Anyways I'm from NC and might be down near Bragg area for christmas time. I'll post up if I'm down there.
I don't know a CPT Givens. Which part of the ARV were you in? I was over by the JDCC mostly. Spent some time around COP Jelawur and some at Brick 1 and all those checkpoints up and down Red Dog.

JDCC is now the OCC-D, COP Jelawur is about 10 times the size and Brick 1 is now COP Nolen. I took over for B-Co 1-17IN and moved into Terra Nova. So you and I were in pretty much the same areas! Givens was in B-Co, 2-1IN, he had the 105mm platoon. I'm too familiar with the Strykers and how their units are set up.
Saturday night? Beer at the Carolina Ale House?
BBS RC041/BMW Style 29
Damn!!! Things have gotten big over there huh? When I first showed up at COP Jelawur there was a team of 8 Canadians, an a company of about 70 ANA. That was all hahaha. We had to take over Brick1, set up claymores everywhere and stockpile a shit ton of grenades on the roofs because of the Pomegranate orchards that surrounded it. They liked to throw pomegranates at us to probe... then next time throw a grenade to try and trick us
So we would throw frags back!!!
I climbed that mountain behind JDCC (OCC-D now i guess) a bunch to set up sniper OP's. And we ambushed a tree at the bridge down the hill I kind of miss it... but not really. AVR is a rough place.

So is this Ale House thing really going to happen Saturday Night?
I'm planning on going! Probably around 7:45 +/-15min. I'll be in my Cosmos E36 M3.
I'll PM you my number if you'd like.
EDIT: Found an estroil M3 at the Ale House today - I'm thinking is user AleHouse on here - he/she just registered on the forum and only has one post.
BBS RC041/BMW Style 29
Yeah that's work...I'll show up around 8 or so Saturday Night. PM me your number and we'll meet up.
I've seen that Estoril driving around the flight-line on Pope.
I'll more than likely the e46 M.
I'll let you guys know tomorrow, I'm down but I'm sick as all hell right now but still down to hang out. I mean alcohol kills viruses and there is alcohol in beer so I'm pretty sure my logic isn't flawed. Trying to get my car on a rack today to look at the right rear wheel bearing since I'm pretty sure it's shot. If not I'm scewed cause I have no idea what it could be.
