FS: 2001 E39 540i SPORT

Hello All,

I currently have a 2001 540i sport for sale at $3,000.

- blown radiator hose and coolant leak or air in system. (I am 99% sure of the air in system) since the car has 117K its probably time for the inevitable cooling system overhaul. The reason why I am not doing the overhaul myself and selling it is two reasons 1. reading posts (I know this is my first post but I have been browsing for sometime) I am nervous that after fixing the problem it will come back again and 2. I am not financially secure to do a cooling system overhaul and risk it happening again.

I would prefer to have this car sold as 1 unit. but if it comes down to it i will part out.

- 117,000 miles
- pixel dash problem
- black/black
- dent on driver side passenger door
- key mark on front passenger door
- 17in sport rims ( bad condition) full size spare
- no nav
- sport seats/steering wheel

This car is located in northern jersey and must sell ASAP!

Pictures would go a long way. Is it an Manual or automatic trans? Did the car overheat? What if any mainteance has been done, brakes, tires, clucth, window regulators, Valve Cover gaskets, vally pan gasket etc etc?

sorry for the late reply I will get pics by the end of the week.

the car was running fine needle was at 12 o clock and when car was put into park the top rad pipe blew off.

auto tranny
brakes - at 100k
window reg - replaced driver side.
tires - have new tires but have not put them on yet.
valve cover - no
valley pan - no
