    BMW Roof rack, and parts available

    Sorry - think this will be my 10th post so I can PM. PM back for pictures

    I have 3 BMW Roof racks, using only 1.
    one is a newer, locakabel X5 rack that upon quick glance I can't see how to remove the end pieces to cut down to fit the e39 wagon as I've done on earlier generation cross-bars.

    So, unless you know how to disconnect the end pieces, the X5 one won't do you any good on the e39.

    I have 3 Touring bike holders, plus some ski (and I think, maybe) snowboard holder {they came with racks purchased previsouly. I've never used them, and most likely won't, so don't mind selling them)
