tire recomendations for E39 sport pkg

I have a E39 5281 with the sport wheels 235/45/17. I drive aggresive on the weekends and highways during the week. I put 35k a year for work. I currently run the michelin Pilot XGT Z4 and they are getting bare. Great for the highway good performance and excellent milege.

Besides the new Pilot sports A/S any suggestions?

I am not that concerned with all season because if it's that bad I use the wifes truck.

    Thanks in advance

Have the same question -- no response back in 2003 to this guy? Minus the 35K miles per year.

OP, what did you end up buying?

I like the Bridgestone RE960 AS and the Goodyear Eagle F1 AS. I would say in the testing that we have done these tires are going to handle better and they cost less as well.
If I can help let me know.

My next tire will be the Falken FK452. I'm hearing great things about it...

I'm going to run 255/40/17....We'll see how much sidewall slop I end up with
