What is the widest tire i can put in the rear and front? What are the perfect offsets? Ive seen some very nice sharks in the sharkfest but cant tell what size of tires and offset they have.
Im looking to buy used wheels from craigslist.com..any specific bmw models interchangeable with my shark?
The stock offset is around 19-22, so as long as you get wheels that are about a 20 offset or less, you should be fine.

Suggest you try the search function on this forum. It should give you all the info you need. For example, see http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...ghlight=offset
thanks for the replies. i'll try the search function, hopefully i can get a picture of a shark that has the wheel setup i want fro my car.
Check out this collection of E24's and their rims! Quite a few Sixers in the slide show. http://www.pacificsharkfest.com/pics/image179.html

I was contemplating Style 95's for a while, then I decided 19's are too much.

what's the current size on your 6?
19's are just a little too big for a SIX, although I have 18's on my 88 M6. Personally, the style 95's flush/no lip design and spokes that extend the entire width of the wheel just don't appeal to me. They just don't match the sporting characteristics of the E24 coupes. Suggest going with deep dish rims, especially in the rears if running a staggered setup!
