E38 HID retrofit H7 bulb adaptors ?

Hi

I am planning to do a hid retrofit on an E38. My question is. Does the E38 use a bulb holder for the H7 halogen bulb.

If there is not HID's already, it is a 10 minute job, why do you want to do h7's?

oh sorry i didn't make my message clear.

The car is a customer's car. It only has halogens right now. I wanted to know if the halogen bulbs are using a bulb holder.
