BMW 7 Series audio Install

Yes I am actually talking to a guy in Florida that might be flying me out there to install a set of them. The only thing is there is a lot better stuff if you are going to drop 5 grand like hybrid or morel.

Just installed a 1200w Hertz 380D cone woofer in my car, unbelievable how tight the bass is in a 26 liter self made enclosure.

He bought most of the stuff off ebay so the parts totaled a bit over 4 grand. But would of cost much more retail.

My labor 2,300 dollars

He was very happy with the car, very impressed with the audio aspect of it as well "as was I". In two weeks he will drop off the kick panels and the door panels for the speakers to get molded into the doors for more foot room.

There are two fans towards the back of the car behind the amps one intake one exhaust.

Actually simple raise the board up and take out your tire. Everything is still there and can be accessed.

I have seen the car and heard the sound, it needs some tweaking and tidying up, it's not as clean as I thought

If you are talking about the upholstery the sub ravaged it as with the adhesive of the carpet. Not much more tweaking can be done with a passive crossover and a stock head unit. But I get what your saying.

Did anybody ever find out the final status with the install? I guess after the last few exchanges questioning the craftsmanship of the install, the OP decided not to post any further updates? Just curious if anybody has heard/seen it recently and what you thought of it.

I know I had my doubts when I saw the crazy bondo job on the kick-panels, and screws in the sub box. Regardless, I know a lot of effort was put into the install, so kudos on tackling a tough job.

I saw rhis thread a few days ago. I want to keep the stock head unit though and im going all out when it comes to the install. Basically whats in this thread except the kick panel speakers. Theres no need for them to me in n. My car
