Definitely black! That's how it came from the factory, and that's how it shall stay. I'm truly a purist when it comes to exterior appearance. The ONLY non-stock things on my car will be the wheels, paint colour(albeit a BMW colour), interior colour(also BMW), and the ride height. I LOVE the black lower lip. Mine will be "painted" using Wurth European texture rocker guard. Also doing both rocker panels.

Waferman, I am building a second engine (m20 2.8) to drop in their so I am not really too worried. I have dropped the gas tanks recently and the gas is realtively new. The stock 2.3 used to run fine, but she has sat for too long.

ichiwan: I dig those carbs, where did you find them?
I sold my tripple sidedraft dcoe 40s webbers, as I will be running motronic.
I also have a shrick 288 cam that you could run with them if your interested let me know.

Yeah, I know sometimes the cars look cleaner with less stuff.
I don't think my 323i looks to overdone. The side skirts are only miminal.

I think they came out very nice. Cant wait to slap the new engine in.

Have you ever seen those skirts on a non lowered car? They make it look pretty sweet. For some reason, from certain angles they make the car look longer I think. If they were in my budget, I would definatly go with those side skirts though.

My '82 320i is my Avatar. It's a former circle track car (I raced it at the local 1/4 mile asphalt roundy round for 3-4 years), and it's now being used as a Rallycross car (basically Autox on dirt....).
