Reading through this thread, it looks like a mixed bag; some like them, some don't. Any others have experience with them? I'm looking to replace the shocks & struts on my daughter's 318ti that rides like grandma's Buick. She's in her 4th year of med school, and will probably replace it about this time next year, so they only need to last about 30-40,000 miles longer, if that...

Compared to the cost of a set of new Billies, these seem like a bargain; $159 plus $30 shipping...

Had my set in for about 18 months and 8000 miles on NYC roads and no issues at all. I recommend them.

I'm going to pick up this brand for my 08' Mercedes E class with the sport package in the fall.

Lot of bang for your buck in this.

For Daily driving and probably non-track driving, Stagg shocks are good. Got over 13k on mine, put them on April 2014. Drove in stop go driving in Austin, 4th worse traffic in the US in 2014. Lately I've been driving on the Highway mostly, but I-35 from Roundrock to Temple, TX "aint" no joke. I'm still Daily driving mine.

Website domain is for sale.> I'd worry about continued support if I purchased them. I like companies that are stable enough to keep their domain .

I could see why that would be an issue for new customers. Could be they just don't sell them anymore. As far as my setup is concerned it's been over two years and about 12000 miles and no issues. But at this point if I had any issues it wouldn't matter now anyway.

Has anyone used these and are they worth the money? Some honest feedback would be excellent. Fellas chime in and help us out.

So no one has anything to say about these? A lot of views with no opinions.

Hi, I'm in the same situation, needing to replace my shocks on my BMW E39 528i 97'
I would really appreciate any comments on the quality of these ones. Changing shocks is something that could change your car, so any experience to share would be great for me.
    Thanks!

So, I have a choice (due to budget) for new struts of:

    Sensen http://www.ebay.com/itm/221044125751...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
    Stagg http://www.ebay.com/itm/311198596950...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
    Boostmaster http://www.ebay.com/itm/181568382372...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

All around $120 shipped for my X5 2001 3.0. Anyone have enough experience with these brands to endorse or advise to stay away? Any other brands anyone knows of in the $200 a pair price range that would be good and reliable for a nice smooth ride... daily driving not track, but in New England where roads can be rougher than big cities.

I can vouch for the Stagg as I am currently using them and they are holding up well. I know some people have used Sensen. I have never heard of bootmaster.

Are the stagg shocks short or same length as oem shocks?

Stagg would be the choice from your list. 69k on mine. Good budget shocks.

Sorry to bump an old thread to ask but I'm waiting for a set of Staggs to arrive and I'm trying to plan ahead. Can anyone tell me if the shock shaft has an allen head (female) recess or a male hex?

Update: with103k miles on Stagg shocks it was time to change them. One shock was completely blown. I suppose it was like that for about 10k. The other three were fine. I ordered another set, all four including shipping was $135... ..
