Name the factory options of your e34.

I'll have to do some homework on steptronic!

Did BMW put build sheets in their cars? Where do I look?

Um hate to tell you but you don't have steptronic in an 89 BMW.

If you are sitting on the passenger side of the rear seat, reach your hand down and you should feel a little smooth spot with a panel covering it. The switch was under there.

The build sheet is under your back seat. You have to remove the entire lower portion of the back seat (it pops up from the front). Then look in one of the rear corners of the seat that you removed and you should see a small piece of paper. Found mine there all crumpled up on the right side.

I really don´t know. I think it´s something related to a different radiator and /or thermostat.

I've seen this option on the E28 South African BMW's. I liked the look a lot. In the US, I believe we've got more blue. Can't say for others'.

If I ever had to replace the windshield, I'd try to source one of these.

I'm looking to buy a rear seat arm rest for my 1995 530i that is equipped with a ski bag. Ideally, it would be black leather, but I'll take other colors.

The arm rest is removable and believe it or not, I lost mine.

Man I dont know enough about bmw's to know which are factory options... Only one I really learned fron PO was that the car had a "rear luxury package " which means backseat headrests, map lights and shit. Also, i'm drunk right now, so it took like 10 minutes to type this...

Very neat thread. I'll need to dig out the options for my US 540i/6, but the one I have in the UK - 1994 Calypso 540iA with 60k miles came with (and still has) the fully stocked first aid kit under the front passenger seat, and perhaps my favorite - the fire extinguisher mounted under the drivers seat.
