Custom Steering Wheel Controls, PTT Radio

My friends and i use 2-way's to keep everyone up in contact when going to car shows, road trips or just sicking around.

I was thinking of doing a custom PTT 2-way radio control to take the place of the useless phone button, anyone know of a wire i could splice into?

Is there any kind of DIY out there for this kinda thing? I've done a lot of searching, got nothing so far. If i have to be the first, so be it lol, just curious
