Did My brakes and didnot know I shouldn't reuse the sensors. The brakes
work fine but I think a sensor is bad because the brake linings light is on.
wish I could turn that off without replacing the sensors. I can live with that for now.
The issue is the brake fluid is at the right heig ht and brakes work fine.
How do I get rid of the light? Thanks in advance
Cut the wire and connect them together.
You get check brake linings? or is the brake light on? that could be low fluid
Have a technical question, don't send me a PM but post it on the board so others can benefit from it!
Hey thanks. The fluid level is perfect. The brake pads are all new.
The check lining message on start up shows and my wife reminds me. I know its a bad sensor because I when I changed the pads I tried to re-use the sensor because I didn't know it required it. By the way those are a biotch to fiddle with my fat hands!
I know I need new sensors.
What bugs me is the fluid light!!!!! Fluid is fine, brakes lock up like Batman.
I tried to insert a wire in the connector to jump the switch but light was still on. Maybe the connector is bad? Hmm. Im ready to cut the wire and connect them. Who doesn't know when they need brakes or fluid is low anyway? If that doesn't work I'll paint the dash black.
Thanks for your ideas keep em comming
It takes a few start cycles for the light to go out
