In the last 30K miles I have owned this car, I have had the following fixed,

All shocks replaced
New spark plugs and connectors
Front upper and lower control arms replaced
Front brake rotors replaced
Both Catalytic converters replaced with brand new BMW OEM cats
Air intake gasket replaced
New Fuel pump
New fuel level sender
Fuel filters replaced
Valve cover gaskets
Engine oil leaks fixed
New power steering pump and one hose replaced
All steering links replaced
Oil lower pan with gasket replaced
Throttle body gasket replaced
Flex disc replaced
Center bearing (for drive shaft) replaced
Secondary air pump replaced
Secondary water pump replaced
New infinity rear shelf component speakers
New Stereo, Eclipse CD3100 - mp3 capable
New Michelin tires with 5k miles on them


The car has has some rust spots along the 4 corners of the moonroof and driver's door and some paint fade on the trunk lid.
The car's interior seats are good with the arm rests showing wear and tear.
The head liner is sagging because the glue has dried out. The top of the dashboard has faded due to heat and age.
However everything mechanical and electronic works in this car and still rides tight on the freeway and remains
smooth and stable at speeds of over 100mph. The engine is smooth as silk and feels just like a new car.
The transmission shifts very smooth with absolutely no jerks at all. It has the original 15 inch sport wheels and a full size spare.

I love this car which I bought from a friend 4 years ago.
I won't sell this car if not for the fact that I need to get a 7 seater SUV for my growing family.
I'm going to take my wife's e39 528i and give her the new SUV.

If you have the time and patience to fix up the cosmetic issues with this car, this car will last another 100k miles very easily
and is very satisfying to drive.
