My car has been having trouble starting. The car would crank but wont start. It will start eventually after i keep on cranking it. Every time i take it to the mechanics for this reason the problem stops and they are unable to replicate it. The mechanic tested the fuel pressure and it was good. They looked at the fuel pump and said it looked okay as well. the only thing that was irregular was the electricity getting to the pump. I think he told me that the voltage wasn't consistent as it should be and its more then likely that i need to replace the fuel pump. Could this be anything else or does it seem like a fuel pump issue?
it can be fuel pump relay, or fuel pump itself. Just change my fuel pump yesturday. Relay is not expenseve and easy to change.
It's the fuel pump.
Yeah, good sign of a pump on it's way out. My E32 did this same thing for a few months, then one day finally died.
